Yngve Slyngstad

Responsible for overall strategy, operations, and management of Industry Capital Partners and a board member of ICP Asset Management, ICP Ventures and ICP Infrastructure.
Prior to founding ICP, Yngve served for 13 years as CEO of Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), the asset manager of the Government Pension Fund Global of Norway.
Under his leadership, the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund grew from approximately€ 200 billion to over € 1 trillion and became the largest single shareholder in the world's stock markets. During his tenure, NBIM also became widely recognised as a leader in active ownership and responsible investment management, particularly with regard to climate change. Yngve began his career at NBIM by establishing and leading its equity investment program.
Yngve holds a law degree from the University of Oslo, a Master of Science in Economics and Business from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), a Master of Business Administration from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a Master of Political Science from the Université Paris II.
